Royal Thai Government Scholarships 2025 for National and Asian Students
The Royal Thai Government Scholarships is the project of Thailand government. The government has announced the scholarships for all the talented and dedicated national and Asian students. The scholarship is fully funded and covers all the tuition fees, monthly stipend and accommodation allowances as well.

- His Majesty the king’s Scholarships for Master’s Program
The scholarship aims to provide the Master’s degree to the high achievers of bachelor’s degree. Aspirants can avail any program and any subject from the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and the School of Management (SOM).
- Her Majesty the Queen’s Scholarships for Master’s Program
Any student who want to pursue the Masters in environment oriented programs can seek the scholarship from School of Environment, Resources, and Development (SERD).
- Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMS Scholarships) for Master’s Programs
This is a special scholarship program to support the human resource development in the GMS countries. The students can pursue the master’s degrees in any of the field including infrastructure development, Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development, and Energy Technology.
The countries that are included in Greater Mekong Sub-region GMS are:
- Cambodia,
- Southern Part of China: Yunnan and Guangxi provinces,

Eligibility criteria for the Royal Thai Government Scholarships:
The eligibility criteria for masters and doctoral program is:
- The applicants from Asian countries can only apply for the scholarship.
- The students must have completed their 4-years bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute to be eligible for master’s program.
- Bachelors and master’s degree is necessary for the doctoral students.
- The student must have a strong academic record with the CGPA od 2.75 or above in bachelor’s, and 3.5 CGPA in master’s for the doctoral degree.
- English proficiency is mandatory to become eligible. (IELTS overall score 6; TOEFL overall score 80; PTE Academic overall 52).
- A satisfactory mental and physical health is ensured.

- Register yourself by making your account.
- After the account creation, fill the application form by adding accurate information and documents needed.
- Submit the application fees of $25 or Baht 800. (it is non- refundable). It is mostly online payment. But you need to fill the application processing fee payment notification form, if the application fee is not submitted online.

The scholarship is announced in annual basis. The deadline for the submission of the application for august intake is 28th February 2025 and for January intake is 20th December.

Yes, English proficiency is necessary for the scholarships. It may be AIT EET, IELTS, TOEFL etc.
