Shell Malaysia has announced Shell Malaysia Scholarships. The scholarships are open for all the international and national students, anywhere from the world. The academic excellent students can get the opportunity to get these prestigious scholarships.  Two-tier A-levels and undergraduates from esteemed domestic and international schools and universities are offering to sponsor candidates. Till now 1500 scholarships are being awarded.

The primary aim of the Shell Scholarship Program is:

Field of study:

The scholarship awardees can pursue their graduate degrees in any of the following fields of study.

  • Engineering: Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Petroleum, Electrical & Electronics, Environmental, Sustainable
  • Sciences: Geology, Geosciences, Geomatics, Geophysics, Data Science
  • Commercial: Business & Management, Digital Marketing

What is the eligibility criteria of the scholarship?

Anybody who want to catch the Shell Malaysia Scholarships must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the scholarship.

  • The applicants may belong to any country of the world, either domestic or international.
  • Strong leadership abilities and involvement in extracurricular activities including sports, clubs, and society is the fundamental requirement.
  • The candidates must not be currently holding any loans or scholarships
  • Strong academic performance consistently is required. It may be:
    • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) requires at least 8As (A/A+) OR
    • Exceptional O-level results at the IGCSE (A*/A).
  • Before applying for the scholarship, make sure you can work in the country where the scholarship program is being offered.
  • They have to be 2023 SPM or 2024 O-Level graduates.
  • They must be willing to attend a selected boarding school to obtain A-levels

Complete Application Procedure for the Shell Malaysia Scholarships

There are three stages for the completion of the application process till the section:

Application stage:

  • Go to the online application portal on the official website. Scholarship application system.
  • The application opens at 27th May.
  • Fill out the application form at the portal
  • It will take only 5 to 10 minutes to apply via application form.
  • Connect your LinkedIn profile with the application form.
  • Submit the form before the deadline.

Stage 1: Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Video Interview

  • You will be invited for the next stage after application submission.
  • Complete the Virtual Job Tryout. 
  • Once you are done with this, start the On-Demand Video Interview.
  • There will be three questions in the video interview.
  • You will get time of your choice to answer the questions.
  • But you will have 2 minutes to record the answer.
  • The Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Video Interview will take approximately 40 minutes.
  • Complete this stage within 7 days of receiving the invitation.

Stage 2: Final Assessment & Competency-Based Interview

  • Applicants will complete a virtual interview with the Scholarship Board of Trustees on scenario-based questions.
  • It will resemble to the competency based interviews.
  •  Your academic and leadership experiences will also be inquired.
  • This allows the scholarship committee to get to know you better and for you to get to know us better.

The last date to apply for the scholarship is 17th June 2024.
