FAQs:

1. What is the ISEE and why do I need it for the UNIBO scholarship?
The ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) shows your family’s financial condition. It helps determine if you’re eligible for higher scholarship benefits.

2. I’m from outside Italy, can I still submit an ISEE?
Yes! Non-Italian students must submit an ISEE parificato, which evaluates your income based on official documents translated and legalized from your home country.

3. What documents are needed for the ISEE parificato?
You’ll need family income statements, property documents, and household size proof—all translated into Italian and legalized (or with apostille, if required).

4. Where can I get the ISEE parificato done?
You must visit a CAF (Tax Assistance Centre) in Italy, preferably one that works with UNIBO. Booking early is recommended!

5. I’m confused by all these legal terms, what does “translated and legalized” mean?
It means your original documents must be officially translated into Italian and verified by a competent authority or embassy.

6. Do I need to be in Italy to get the scholarship?
Yes, to complete the ISEE parificato process and submit the necessary forms, you’ll need to be in Italy or work through local representatives.

7. Is the ISEE parificato mandatory for all scholarships?
It’s not required for all, but without it, you may only receive the minimum grant amount. Submitting it can increase your chances of getting more funds.

8. I can’t get my documents translated before the deadline, what can I do?
If you’re unable to submit the ISEE parificato in time, you can still apply for the scholarship, but you’ll only be considered for the minimum amount.

9. Who can help me with this entire process?
UNIBO’s International Desk and ER.GO (the regional authority) offer support and guidance for completing scholarship documentation.

10. When should I start preparing the ISEE documents?
Start at least 2-3 months before the scholarship deadline, as document translation and legalization can take time.
