Eligibility Criteria of The Hague University of Applied Sciences Scholarships

If you are determined to apply for the World Citizen Talent Scholarship at Hague University of Applied Sciences, you are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

  • Nationality: The candidate must belong to a nationality other than the Netherlands. The students living in the Netherlands are not eligible.
  • Application attempt: the candidate must apply to enroll in the university for the first time. Students who previously enrolled or studied at the university can’t apply for the scholarship.
  • Scholarship attempt: The candidates must apply for the scholarship for the first time. Second attempt is not allowed to be eligible.
  • Acceptance of program: The candidate must have been conditionally accepted to join the chosen program on or before 31 March for the upcoming academic year.

To apply for the World Citizen Talent Scholarship in Hague University of Applied Sciences, follow the steps below:

  • Apply for the Master’s program: First take admission in the chosen master’s program in the university. Open the official website and apply through the application portal.
  • Essay writing: once you are admitted to the program and you accepted the offer, apply for the scholarship. You have to write an essay for the scholarship.
  • Instructions for essay assignment:

§  Choose the essay topic from one of the sustainable development goals (SDGs). Select the topic in the link. The word count must be between 750 to 1100 words. Mention: How it fits into your bachelor program.

Results for the Scholarship

The scholarship committee evaluates all the essays received from the applicants. Only three applications are selected with impressive essays.

  • The selected candidates will be notified via email.
  • The candidate must have fulfilled all the requirements and terms and conditions for the enrolment.
  • The grant of 5000 euros will be waived from the tuition fee as the last installment.
  • Scholarship winners are expected to participate actively in the program and its evaluations.
  • The students can become an ambassador of the Master’s programs and contribute to the internationalization of our institution.

The last date to submit the essay for the scholarship is 31 March. The admission application’s last date is June 2024.
